EXPERIENCE Day of the Dead Celebration
According to Mexican Tradition, every November 1st and 2nd of each year; our ancestors ask for permission to come out from Mictlan (place of eternal rest for the dead) and visit us. In Mexico we honor our loved ones that have parted ways before us. The tradition of this celebration is of pre hispanic origin, since the mexicas celebrated year after year their dead people. We receive them within colors, aromas, and candles, so the light guides their souls. Cempasuchitl flower, their essence and color helps them get to their altar. In our altars Tequila, Mezcal or Pulque cannot be missed so their stay is happy and festive. With their favorite plates, Mexican gastronomy is definitely the best in the world. We bring back the dead once a year, so they can continue to eat, drink,enjoy and celebrate. It's a day in which the alive ones get characterized and Catrinas and Catrines, men and women proud of their traditions.
